As many have heard by now, I have accepted the position of Director of the Daniel Feeney Preschool in Walpole (at Elm Street School) starting July 1, thus ending my time at Fisher.
It is an exciting and bittersweet time for me both personally and professionally. I look forward to what the future holds - forming new relationships with children, families, teachers, and staff yet it is the relationships I will miss most at Fisher.
It has been a joy and a priviledge to work with your children and you. Each day I look forward to coming to school, seeing the kids during the good times and the tough times and doing my small part to help guide and support them when needed. Fisher School is a special place and it will always be "home" to me for so many reasons. I consider myself blessed to work with such dedicated and passionate people and I cannot express how grateful I am to have had the opportunity to work alongside them.
Fortunately, I am still in Walpole and I will work closely with the new counselor and Mr. Bemiss to ensure a smooth and successful transition. And I promise to visit Fisher from time to time too!
Of course, I will see you out and about around town: at Stop and Shop, Mylod, Fore Kicks, various restaurants and many other places.
Your children hold a special place in my heart, thank you for sharing them with me. They are a gift as are you, thank you for your support and partnership.
Warmly,
Julie
